Last night forecasters warned that violent storms and sustained, driving rain will bring a risk of structural damage and flash floods. If that’s not bad enough, they also warned of a big freeze – severe frosts that could hit as early as November, heralding “another cold winter”.

We, of WeatherAction, have been warning our subscribers for some time that Britain would be in for serious weather trouble around now and the significant news about these coming few days is we have the simultaneous appearance on our shores of remnants of Hurricane Irene AND 50 million volt proton bursts on the sun which will power up thunderfloods here when solar wind blasts hit earth. It is therefore annoying to have Johnathan Powell of PWS described as FOREcasting these events and making his usual delusional baseless claims about coming months.
Is this the same Jonathan Powell of PWS who predicted on 22 March in your main RIVAL newspaper that Britain was this year likely to have it’s ‘hottest ever’ summer http://bit.ly/bgpiD5? Express, next time someone ‘deserts’ THE RIVAL paper perhaps ask them why?
