"One of the Gillard Government’s most popular deceits is that its carbon dioxide tax - to be followed by emissions trading - isn’t putting us way ahead of the rest of the world, and ahead of the biggest emittors: ........That deception was yesterday exposed by the US president himself, standing right next to Prime Minister Julia Gillard in front of a huge press pack: .....The answer in short is: there is no way in the world that the US is about to move to a national emission trading scheme or carbon dioixde tax, and certainly not while China and India refuse. The Gillard Government is dishonest. "
