The day after Britain's worst storm in 30 years: Massive clear-up begins after deluge so powerful it warped roads

Daily Mail
"The Met Office said an area of low pressure measuring 973 millibars had been recorded near the coast of the north east of England making the bad weather the most intense September storm for 30 years. Although the heavy rain is expected to die off today, there are still 75 flood warnings and 123 flood alerts in place today, and some communities are being warned of the possibility of more flooding."
