''2012 was the second wettest year in British history, the Met Office has revealed today.'' NO! It was ''since records began'' in 1910. That's just over one century ago. That is not the full history of Britain. There has probably been much more rain over the billions of years of Earth's and Britain's history. The Friends of the the Earth and other activists are again confusing correlation with causation.

..............I remember in 2003 being told as 2003 was one of the driest years on record, that global warming meant that we would be getting more drier and hotter summers. Fast forward 9 years that have failed to be hot and dry and we are now told that global warming actually means more wet weather and more flooding.
