But he added, crucially, that they will receive no public subsidy.This is hypocrisy, when huge subsidies are lavished on the Coalition’s beloved windmills, and yesterday we were promised more of them. I shall believe this Government has a credible energy policy to keep our lights burning in 2020 only when it starts constructing nuclear power stations. To achieve this, some public money is essential."
